 TYSSEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL & CHILDREN’S CENTRE AT TYSSEN

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Learning Mentor to join our team from October 2020. Our school is a happy, creative community where we seek to help every child thrive. You will play an important part in providing opportunities for personal and academic growth, contributing to raising standards of attainment for a targeted group of students. The successful candidate will work with a range of pupils with Emotional, Social and Behavioral difficulties as part of our Inclusion Team. Relevant experience of working with young people is essential and you will be able to demonstrate expertise and skills from your previous employment history. Salary range:      £18,575 to £19,598 (actual pro-rata salary)

Hours:                  30 hours per week – Term Time Only

You will have:

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant disciple.

Learning Mentor JD Sept 2020

 

We are looking to appoint for October 2020 an exceptional Site Assistant to join our Premises Team and to work as part of our school; delivering a high standard of support to the pupils and staff.   The potential candidate will be liaising daily with the Premises Manager on caretaking issues and will be providing support and training to the school’s maintenance team.  The Site Assistant will also need to ensure the security of the school premises and assist in the maintenance of any machinery or plant within the school.

Hours:                  28 hours 45 minutes per week (6.15a.m. – 12:30p.m. with half hour break at 10:30a.m.)

We are looking to appoint for October 2020 an exceptional Cleaner to join our Premises Team and to work as part of our school; delivering a high standard of support to the pupils and staff.   The potential candidate will undertake, normally as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas within school premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. This will be by following a cleaning rota (under a separate cover) with daily, weekly and termly achieved components.
